OK so I hear the Mojo Demo was quite successful.
Now I have got one diskless platform joined to CPDN. Here is a issues list.
- Mucho diskspace, over 55 meg used.
- the Linux client is chatty, the stdio produces a line of output for each Time Stamp this is about 2.2K per minute on a XP3200. This will be hard on the network with 25 of these bad boys running back to a single XP1800 server.
- the performance is not optimized for AMD. An XP3200 takes about a half a second longer per timestamp than a P4 3.0 (single proccess) :eek:
