Go forth and multiply

There seems to be a shortfall in birthrates according to this item on the BBC website.

If theres not enough working age population to support all us oldies I’m sure the retirement age will get pushed up to somewhere around 85.
So if you all want to retire before you croak with your state pension boosted by the contributions of all those hardworking offspring best get out there and get on with it.

I’m doing my bit to help the situation

i prefer the borrow someone elses approch. that way when there messy food “docks” with the vcr i can charge the owner for a new vcr

/n.b. docks is a refrence to dennis leary’s no cure for cancer

it’s only really in issue if the emigration rates drop so that the birth + emigration falls bellow death rate + departures.

though it does result in culture shifts.

I’d offer to do my bit to increase the birth-rates
But after talking to AndyLamb and Scottishbird and hearing the end product…
