Looks like a lot of users who haven’t returned a unit in a while are getting
negative stats, Lm is looking into the problem, I will let you know if they
manage to get it sorted.

Curly

all errors and ommissions are intentional

Thanks for the news Curly.

This morning I noticed I have been crunching for the genus/species Hypostomus sp.2 (chorao) at this point 50 times in a row. The times are similar but not identical so each unit is being crunched and they are not duplicate returns. Interestingly, two computers are returning results on this species. I don’t know how many units in total I have as they are still being crunched.

This morning I noticed I have been crunching for the genus/species Hypostomus sp.2 (chorao) [/B]

how very strange all my boxes are doing the same thing…

i think theres some thing fishy going on

me too, but if you look at this post HERE from the LM support forums, it should explain it all.

hth, Curly

Thanks for the pointer Curly. I do know they send out multiple copies of a work unit to get their desired minimum of 50 results for each job packet. I didn’t know they sent them out in batches making it possible one user would suck up so many. I thought they were distributed over time to have as many different users as possible crunch them.

It’s not a problem as all of the work is valid and needed by the Lifemapper model.
