top mapping, Curly

all errors and ommissions are intentional

Thanks for the news Curly.

Output will drop off for a few days as I cannot get access to clear the caches due to working Offshore for a few days.

Output will return when I get back mid next week to clear the caches.

Made sure all the machines are topped up with full caches before I left.

If your computer can’t connect while you are away you can download enough units to last until you get back. Calculate how many units you will need and divide by 200
Duplicate your lifemapper folder that number of times, lifemapper1, lifemapper2, etc.
Run the CLI in each one set to -c 200.
You might have five instances running at once. When you return, you will have five folders full of results.

Richard

Thats exactly what I do.

I have 4 quite fast Pc’s, each gets through 3 lots of 200Wu each week.
2 slightly slower Pc’s and each get through 2 lots of 200Wu each week.
Then theres the slow ones which I use infrequently, they only manage 140Wu per week.

Thats why some weeks the output is higher than the others, it depends when I have time to get to the Pc’s.

Its a sound tip, must be if I do it already

thanks for da n00z mate
