I’m trying to draw together various documents into a master document - however I need to work on it at home and work and the locations are different and the master document appears to be using absolute paths.
Anyone got any ideas on how I can get around this?
So the embedded code for say a photo is linked to a localized server. You could setup a VPN and map like at work? But I would think saving in another version (up/down) from what you have may work better. The older versions of word typically embedded objects into the doc. Hope that helps…Not a great solution for sure but it gets you the docs.
Turns out I had saved them as relative paths anyhow… Even though they display a absolute path.
