Yeah I am looking at the 295’s as well and might have to pump them into the Quads to get enough WUs per day to keep them fed.
From our other thread Gandelf, a single 295 looks like the limit for a dual core. Am I correct in that assumption on the 400 WU a day limit per CPU?

So the bottom line is with the Seti limit of 400 per day per CPU, a Dual CPU machine would run out of WUs with anything more than a single GTX 295. Is this Assumption correct?
A Quad could handle 2 GTX 295 comfortably?

I’m woikin on it…lol.
If my computer keeps going like this it will have crunched almost 160 work units in a day. I figure a couple more of these and I should be set.
I think I will get a better CPU cooler to replace the stock. I should be able to get 4000MHz out of it pretty solid with the right cooler.

A bit off-topic, but is there a way I can get more WU’s? Everything is set properly but I can’t keep my i7 fed. It runs out of wu’s all the time.

It’s a new cruncher, so it will take a while before you start getting fed everything it can handle.
One way to try would be to increase the cache size on your computing preferences. I have mine set as follows
