No matter how big you are, that amount has got to impact. So will the cash cow of Vista be better - well it already is from what I’ve seen, many formats going to open standards. I do wonder what the EU were expecting - MS to give away the “crown jewels” ? There are plenty of alternative languages for people to interface with MS products, as well as the ones MS provides themselves (at yet another cost).
Where do people stand, is this a fair ruling or punishing a software success ?
