Long drive across the ocean…
New job - Started yesterday
grand daughters - day care 4-5 days a week
step daughter - unable to earn sufficent money to pay rent being supplemented from my pocket
step son - in drug rehab on my dime
mother in law - living here after suffering a stroke, but improving with hopes of going home.
wife - unemployed, providing care for her mother and grand daughters.
Need I say more. Tough to justify a 6000 mile trip. Looks like I am the pivot man in a circle jerk.
This place is a zoo of everyone elses activity.
Missed 3 weeks off work in a row all ready
Another saturday wouldn’t go down welll…

I would love to attend, just not in the cards right now. Maybe in the spring, I will have some vacation stashed.
I’ve got to go with Egad…
There is a small pond in the way, not to mention trying to scrape up enough cash for airfare etc.
If it was just a matter of driving 400 miles or so, then it wouldn’t be a problem. Although, the wife might have something to say about that.
