I am having a problem when i try to open folders etc.When i double click instead of opening the folder I get Search Results!Maybe the Registry has changed but I don’t know where to look.Anyone know what to do please?

Assuming you are running XP…
Go to Control Panel, select Appearance and Themes, select Folder Options. Under the General Tab, click restore defaults. Under the File Types tab, select the Folder extension - if it has any opens with settings set them to default, then click Advanced and click Default. Then OK and close control panel.
It’s not guaranteed, but that should set all you folder options back to default settings.
