Well it’s started then.
I had no interest anyway and only took occasional glances at the TV, wife and daughter soon got bored with it and watched some other shite after about 30 minutes
Browsing a few forums it seems many were impressed and words like ‘awesome, astounding, brilliant’ are being used, and a figure in the region of £27 million seems to crop up a lot - was that just to put on that opening ceremony ?
I think thats the value of the empty seats each day
I’m enjoying the Cambridge Folk Festival on SkyArts1 better. Great set from the Proclaimers with audience participation bolstered by Shrek and the recent ad campaign. Great fun
