made it 9 thx to ebuyer’s stupidity forcing me to re-order.
Top tips for improving gbit performance…
- if the source,destination and switch support it use jumbo frames (9k)
- in the registry under tcpip\parameters use tcp1323opts = 1
- if the card supports <anyoption>cpu offload, switch it on.
I get 50-55Mbytes/s, 2-3% cpu on the server, 40-50% cpu on the PC :eek:
