saving ethernet settings

I have used ethtool to change the ethernet speed from 100m full duplex, auto negotiate ON to 10M half duplex, auto negotiate OFF, how do I save these settings in Ubuntu so they are applied everytime I start the pc?

I’ve found whenever I’ve changed a network setting, it’s always stayed that way.

should be able to put the settings into a file… other linux distros use something like…

/etc/net/scripts/eth0.xyz or something

sorted (I hope) followed this guide here
