system bus

I AM INTERESTED IN GETTING AN INTEL MOTHERBOARD FOR A PENTIUM 4 THAT CAME FROM A DELL DEMINSION 8200. HOWEVER, THE PROCESSOR SEEMS TO BE OPERATING AT A BUS SPEED OF 400 MHZ. IF THE BOARD (ASUS P4S800D-X) STATES THAT IT PROVIDES A SYSTEM BUS OF 800 AND 533 MHZ. IS IT STILL POSSIBLE TO USE THIS PROCESSOR ON THIS BOARD? I AM WONDERING IF POSSILBLY THE SELLER LEFT OUT THE INFO. CAN A BUS SYSTEM BE BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE LIKE RAM MEMORY IS ON A BOARD? SECONDLY, DOES THE PROCESSOR FROM THE DELL DIMENSION 8200 HAVE HYPERTHREADING TECHNOLOGY? THANK YOU, RALZ

No need to shout

According to the Asus CPU support listings, the P4S800D-X does support 400 bus CPUs.

Also, according to Dell, the Dimension 8200 never shipped with a HyperThreading enabled CPU.
