anyway, there are loads of British made kids programs, and 90% of them are garbage. IMO it’s because there are so many of them. For the cost of making 300 crap ones, you can make 30 good ones, but everything is quantity over quality 
… and don’t even start me off on the ant & dec stuff :o
TBH not that bothered about children’s programming but calling HMG “wombles” - priceless
