Access and SQL problem?

Oh yes, silly question time again.

Using an access front end, SQL back end. Why can’t I edit a record created from access? Data imported to SQL can be edited using the same form. The record locks itself once initially created.

Please help I’ve been on this for days!

Yeh, I fixed it.

In SQL, if a record has a bit field that is null, it makes the record read only.
