I’m looking for preferably free accounting software for a friends business.
Basically just invoicing and banking management.
His business is construction of movie sets and function sets like fashion shows etc.
I know this isn’t free, but Quickbooks. I use it with a nonprofit organization and it works great. I have to keep reminding the secretary to stop making work so hard and to actually use the features within Quickbooks.
Have to say that using a free piece of software for business accounts is a false economy imho. Lots seem to do well with quickbooks.
Quicken is good but I only used version 6.
I think GNUCash is the best. Free and multi platform. However, not sure how it would cope for business. For personal, it’s free and easy.
