Another Chantril moment

I’ve just spent the last 3 days bombarding Dells forums and scouring Adaptec’s website to find out why I couldn’t get Adaptec’s scsi select utility or Dells Server assistant to set up a Raid array on my new PowerVault.

Then this morning it hit me…

You can’t set up a Raid array on a non Raid SCSI card :doh: :rolleyes: :spit: :bsod:

Nice… but not enough physical harm potential in that one. And you can always go software raid…
