can anyone give me the name for a BB speed test proggy please just upgraded says i should get at least 5mb s just want to test to see what i’m getting

well they did say it could be anything up to ten days before i’m running at full speed
hmm a bit conflicting speedtest.net says 117 down 137 up
speedtest.net is abysmal! Wouldn’t trust it with a barge pole. The one at thinkbroadband is better (used to be called adslguide.org)

Though this is the time when they do say not to test as it can be the most contended time of the day with all the home users on. Try a bit later (after 11 if possible). Also may be worthwhile rebooting your router/line for an hour, helped mine a treat.
