Wow, thatās what you call project slippage. If this happened at work there would have to be resignations.
Still nice to know SETI 1 is going on for a bit. Time to get more tiffies.

As one of the BOINC developers, Iām unfortunately unable to tell you exactly when BOINC will go live āfor realā (not due to any sort of restrictions on what I can say- I just donāt know).
I can, however, say that the existence of these forums is no indication of how long it will be: the forum system is a part of the web aspect of BOINC, along with the recently added profile system, not a feature used solely for gathering debugging comments (though itās useful for that too of course). Just thought I should clarify that =).
Iāll be sure to post something here if and when I find out more about final release dates.

Thanks everyone! It is true, Iāve decided to leave SETI@home/BOINC, though itās been a great experience. Iāve always wanted to live in Japan and an opportunity presented itself, so in 2 weeks I am heading off to teach English there. Karl Chen is taking charge of some of my BOINC related duties, but heās only working until the school year starts. Weāre hiring a full-time replacement for my position shortly. Iāll send you all a postcard when I arrive!

we have to wait for the āfull-time replacementā, but then he must first work in for such a great Programm.
