ReactOS brand spankin’ new OS in the works…with planned Windows driver and app compatibility to make it a ‘more suitible alternative to Linux’.
it’s very very beta ATM, but there are some screens of a gui, whitch i think look a mite too similar to windoze, lest master william ring the bell for his lawyers. Oh, and its GPL:D
Hmmm, looks like a long way away. And it’s just ANOTHER OS
for people to learn if they want it.
But MS products are the market leader in home and office no
matter what people say or do.

I think they are on a good way and the screenshots from the OS awaken more interest to try it out.
I think I would try it out when I have enough time.

Don’t know about the OS, but I had a right shock seeing Dalethfc plastered across that post above :sigh:
No but I got stuck using a PC yesterday running Windows 3.1 
13 years old!
Would think the Uni would replace some of the lab equipment :rolleyes:
