I always though SUSE was a terrible name.
Suse is my fave Linux distribution of all time. Hope Novell doesn’t break it.
Until I saw this thread, I wasn’t even aware Novell were still in business…
This seems to be an effort to consoladate there position and purchase there way back into being competitive. This will probably bring more mainstream support from the big hitters like IBM to get competitive against M$ in the OS field. They actually have a chance to spank M$ in the midrange server.
Hopefully they will pick up the gaunlet for the Desktop initative. It doesn’t sound like it is part of the business plan.
Sounds like a bargain price.
