Yup i think one of those will help:)
just by way of comparison I have an AMD 64bit 3000+ and in normal use it sits at 34C according to Asus pc probe. And thats with the fan turned down low to keep things silent.
Cheers for that Gee that now tells me that my local PC shop really does not have a clue as to what a CPU temp should be,
By the way F.O.A of DT,
i took the network cable you made up for me to the shop to see if it was broken and they tested it and it worked fine.
i plugged it into my ethernet socket on my PC and also tried an ethernet PCI card and it did not work altho it did work on my router,
So im a little confuddled
Ill get there eventually
I don’t think the network cable would work pc->pc as it’s probably a staright through cable and not a crossover cable. So thats probably why it didn’t work between two pc’s
Cheers preecey that sheds some light on that
Also thanks alot mulda that was a great help im now running at 50 C
Nice improvement on the 68C idle i was at before.
I think water cooling will be my best bet if i am going to get and major improvemnt out of this.
thanks again guys for the help.
And cheers mulda
Heat problem fixed.
Thanks to mulda
Idle temp 49 C
And ill be getting one of those PCI card thingmebob’s next month probably
