Changing A lightbulb at TPR

can someone tell me how to change a horn? :trophy:

easy mate - as long as you take care

First (and extremely important), make sure the Rhino is definately asleep before you sneak up on it.
Then tie a length of very strong rope around it’s horn, attach the other end to either a large well rooted tree or the horn of another Rhino (to double your chances of success).
Now the tricky bit - slap the sleeping Rhino and run like hell … in the opposite direction of the tree (or second Rhino)
Although you may struggle to outrun an angry Rhino, this time you have the element of surprise (depending on how long that rope is). When the rope gets pulled taut, the Rhino horn should pull off, causing such bewilderment that it will forget about continuing the chase.
Finaly, wait until the Rhino falls asleep once more, then simply glue a new horn in place of the old one.

If your tactic is to use a second Rhino instead of a tree, you may be lucky enough to do a double horn change. Alternatively you may be unlucky, and the second Rhino also wakes up and chases you.

Lightbulbs are much safer

Yep

Maybe Digi-Darkrooms could use a read of it, they sound suspiciously short of light bulbs

I didn’t bother changing the lightbulb, I just bought a new lamp

HOW MUCH???

Thats £106 to replace the 4 bulbs!, sod the environment!

Sod the environment indeed

… and on a related note, I saw on TV yesterday that the nice Mr Brown went from Downing St to St Pancras railway station. Nothing out of the ordinary you think ? well it wasn’t just him was it, it was about 6 cars (including MPVs) and around 4 or 5 motorcycle escorts.

Surely a Taxi would have saved money and helped the environment - especially as the Government are pushing towards making us cut back

anyway :censored: em all, I don’t fly abroad or travel the length of the country for a photo shoot, so I leave my lights on when I want to … and the TV, Video, DVD are always on standby :tiphat:

Just doing survey, 21st Century and all that, assessing suitability for home automation with alexa and Google automation so no longer need to route around for that light switch just a “Hey Gooogle turn on dungeon light”:+1:

Yes but it now listens to you while you get the latex on.
Alexa is a silent perv.

Sarge.

I not sure we want to know what you been up to with Doris :zipper_mouth_face: :cow2:

Changing lamps can be a thing of the past, with some work.

Poundland crap LED bulbs for example
(Other shitty lamps running WAY beyond the component tolerances are available)

BigClive tears a few down and shows how to underclock them to delay the landfill stage.

I can confidently say 2!

Had my home office redone due to WFH through the pandemic and then was officially made a home worker. Had the main light remove, some spots put in, as well as a fitted office, new flooring, spots under the bridging unit, and lots and lots of double sockets.

But the electrics for the main part was completed by 2 people

(I’m surprised it’s been 18 months since anyone posted here, so thought I should restart it, also I only just my account back!,

So, ello again ppl!)

Whatever next indeed.
One assumes that we are now on solar power and LED lighting, therefore waiting for DT (the slacker) to write an app that will remotely make changes to the lighting requirements.

This of course also has the potential of TFW hacking into it and upon activation, the deepest darkest places will be filled with a lighting display equal to that seen on New Years Eve :joy:
