Cheap as chips DVD player

I want to get a DVD spinner to put in my bedroom. It’ll only be used with an old 14" TV so it doesn’t have to be anything special.

I was thinking about a Daytek P818. Amazon have them for £35. Has anyone used one of these before. I get all concerned it’ll fall to bits if touched as it’s so cheap.

Got one from dabs before xmas - think it was about 30 quid. Played just about anything (CD-Rs, mpgs etc). Except scrabble. It couldnt play scrabble…
A Ronin somthing or other.
Am sure Barry bought one also.
Havent heard anything bad about them, and you can crack for multiregion.

Seems to be the current one - at 40 quid also…

mmm, now where can I use one of those…

In that wee grotty shed you have out the back. The one that you keep a backup of Bibbys files, and your spare raincoat… :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep we got a Ronin. Highly recommended, it’s been fab

Have a look in Richer Sounds they are meant to have one for £25

GAteKeeper

sommerfield do one for £30

The Compaks one that Safeway sell for £35 is suposed to be quite good, it even does progressive scan
