difference between J# and Java

Howdy,

I’ve a small question, I’ll have in two months a big java project but had a small java seminar in january and I find out that my project should be realised in j# is there a big difference between j# and java.
The reason because I ask is that I have not much time for that project and must create a time management. If there is a big difference I’ll have to plan more for the coding phase.

I’ve never heard of it myselfMax, but I’d be interested to know if you can some more info m8

seek and ye shall find :google: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J_Sharp

cheers preecey, read the differences on the german wiki but there are less differences as on the eng. version.

I found also that J# is compatible to other languages so you can for example alter the j# code in c#

j# has also a new framework library

and j# has compared to java no platform independence (runs just on microsoft systems)

and the importants point for me is that java developer should be able to code j# because the instruction set is like java

Okay I will then know more after my project
