how do I clear/delete the cache in firefox?

Tools>Clear Private Data

Check the boxes you want then click the button on the bottom.

You could try CONTROL+SHIFT+DELETE

just additional question… where can we see temporary files used by firefox like IE temp internet files? I believe it is being saved somewhere else.
