Electron Microscope offers the choice to save protein .xyz files.
What are these and is there any benefit to saving them?
The XYZ files can be used by aplets such as JMOL to view the actual protien. You can save them for NicoV from the JMOL project so he can add them to the website. Other than that, not a lot.

You can also save them with FahMon.
I always save them and when I have a few send them on to Larry (Weatherman) the author of EM3 who is building an archive as listed on the EM3 sites protien page. Just my way of helping him and thanks for creating the useful EM3 proggy.
