Fragment C of comet 73P/S

Tonight at 11:20 pm
EDT (0320 UT) fragment C of comet 73P/Schwassmann Wachmann 3 is going to pass almost directly in front of the Ring
Nebula (M57) in Lyra. The view through backyard telescopes should be
wonderful, and astrophotographers will have a fine time taking pictures of the
scene. Sky maps: overview, detailed.

Very interesting. I hope you’ll be able to post some good piccies of it.

I was hoping I would get to take some… But the whole darn State was under cloud cover… But do have some new photo’s from others coming in and will get them up… They are cool… Which makes me even more upset:mad:
We just got a new 8 inch meade about a week ago so even more reason to be:mad:
Oh well, life goes on.
