Hardware Bodgery

I have an i7 All in one system that is not very well.
Bought cheaply off Ebay, test booted and declared a bit slow because it only supports 16Gb and had a 20Gb installed (4 +16).

The plan was to put the memory right and all would be good, However…

When I took the memory out ALL the screws were loose and a proper look shows three mounts for the CPU/GPU heat pipe are no longer attached to the motherboard, sheared at the motherboard side.

Can these be re-attached with soldering ?

I want to save it from the bin but it isn’t getting a new motherboard.

Any thoughts ?

I found this method, mole grips and fire, its got a possibility of working…
