A lot of us here use our spare CPU time to help various scientific projects. One of the most worthy projects around at the moment is Rosetta@home. This project is a major player in the understanding of some very nasty diseases.

To have a closer look, click this link: Rosetta@home

From there you can download the necessary software and start crunching. Be sure to join the team when setting up your account. Just post a message here if you get any problems and there will be someone around who can help you out. Tell your mates too.

SETI has enough crunchers and anyway what are the chances that it will find extra-terrrestrial life. People are DYING (did I spell it right) from diseases and FAH can help
them !!!
