Just to let you all know I am still around, and still check in here from time to time
Life has been a bit sh1t here recently; got married last year and now my wife has been diagnosed with a rare form of cervical cancer (only the second case the Oncologist has ever seen) so now we have a few months of combined radio and chemo therapy ahead and fingers crossed it responds to treatment.
Hi Alta, It’s good to hear from you. It’s a shame it is not under better circumstances. How are you holding up? I can’t imagine how you are feeling right now, if there is anything that a bunch of star wars obsessed geeks can do help let us know.

Firstly, hi Alta long time no see and I wish it could be under happier circumstances. Damn! It’s not the sort of thing you expect to happen to you and yours, but having been through it with my mother I can only say, keep positive. At least it can be treated and where’s there hope, etc. Our thoughts are with you and your wife and keep us updated on how things are going. I know its a difficult time, but sometimes sharing can help, even if only to vent frustration and as you know, us TPRs will always be here for you m8. It’s good to talk and although numbers are dwindling there will always be a digital shoulder here for you. Keep in touch.

MrsFiend had an abnormal smear test last year, she was lucky in that it came through as non-cancerous but she had a small operation to remove the suspect area…
