Hmmmmm strange units

Don’t know if this is isolated to the que here but has everyone been having a load of fast units? It’s not been isolated to one machine either. So I think it’s a load from berkely.

Hmmmmmmmm

I got some too.

I wanted to benchmark/soaktest a machine on standard .4 ish ARs but all I got was high ARs. Don’t normally complain though.

I’ve not got any fast ones, no fair !

over the past two days between three machines the average has gone from about 30ish to nearer 40

Had a few the other day, crunchintime from 1 sec to 1.5 hr.
Wont complain, tho, just want more of them

I had five on one day all less than one min

Glad to see it’s not isolated. Thought all the crunchers here had gone mad

i must have been getting some on the work PIII 400, cos it was pushing them out in 8 hours on the screen saver, but now its taking 17 hours on the CLI.

I seem to have had a few, not loads though:

I overclocked one PC A Mhz Too Far and it started completing WUs in seconds rather than hours.
After about 8 WUs I realised what I’d done and decided, in the spirit of all honesty, I really ought to clock back until normal service resumed

Looking at my “quickies”, seems they were all recorded Nov 22nd - 24th 2003…

Service has returned to normal here now with no more specials :frowning:

I took the opportunity to top up my queue.
