HP Pavilion A330.uk missing drivers

Hi Guys. A workmate’s son has tried to speed up his PC and has caused some issues. I’ve got the main one working (the NIC). The two outstanding are an SM Bus Controller (no idea what that is) and a Multimedia Audio Controller.

Is the SM controller a mobo gateway that is stopping the PCI soundcard from working. or are they two separate problems do you think?

if intel chipsset bus controller can be sorted through this link…

It’s an AMD Athlon setup using an Asustek A7N8X-LA mobo according to CPU-Z. There are bios utilities HERE but I’m not sure if that’s what you mean.

All you need is the std Nforce2 chipset drivers off that asus page.

Or direct from Nvidia… ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/nForce/2.45/

Cheers Paul.
