… how many tracks have you got and how long would it last from start to finish?
I have 4114 and would last 12 days 16 hours 23 minutes and 39 seconds!
854 tracks on my mini, dunno how long that is. I did spend about a week feeding all my CDs into itunes, took about 20 GB at 160k.

Hehe… I wouldn’t have bought an ipod, but I had no complaints about being given one 
I have a Creative Nomad 60 GB portable (no iPod for me).
I have just under 16,000 songs on it. I have no idea how much that is in elapsed time! 
I’ll need a 100 GB portable in order to get all of my tracks loaded.
my ipod 4th gen has 3364 songs and lasts 9.5 days. Thats 12.39GB of music all AAC encoded (mind you, a lot of that is carp)

I have a 20gig Ipod… as full as I need it…wont touch it with itunes use a pluging with winamp
need a bigger one tho… have 120gig of music on my old rig:( cant get it on 20gig ipod :
I have an Iriver, too! They’re fantastic things. 20GB, can hold all my music, I think it’s about 5 days, but don’t listen to all of it…
The shame is that my battery is acting up… I keep meaning to send it back, but forgetting!
rreally? They’ll replace the battery? I probably cant as it’s mega old…
