RUN TWO INSTANCES PER CPU!!!
Depending on what Lifemapper is working on, you can have anywhere from 5% to 25% of the CPU sitting idle if you only run one instance. That’s a crap load of wasted cycles.

I left it to run overnight on a work PIII-800, setting it to Low priority and also leaving SETI running on Low. Strangely, Lifemapper takes around 55% and SETI takes 40% of the cpu… might try plants first just to get me off the ground, I’m more of a birds man myself
