Hi folks, well ive had a rough year since april I’ve been an inmate @sheffield’s northern general hospital had an external frame fitted to fix a walking problem, then because my bones were soft they could not holdit in place and they had to amputate, (all jokes welcome) so im waiting for my new leg and for the council to find me a new home ground floor flat that is wheelchair friendly, below are pics of frame and stump.

Sorry to hear about losing your leg, but good to see you’re still in high spirits. Hope you get sorted ok with some wheelchair friendly digs.
Sorry to hear about the leg Sheffy, but it can only be a good thing if it means the end of a lot of pain and hassle mate.
Once you get sorted with the accommodation and stuff you’ll be whizzing all over. I always wanted loads of us old uns to get mobility scooters and tart em up like the mods did with their scooters - 8 wing mirrors, huge backrests etc - then park down the high street and see how many laughs we get.
