Many thanks to BettyBoo

A little confusing thread title, but this week will see the end of a machine in the office known as BettyBoo

She’s the filesharing machine, that is being replaced with a NSLU2 / Slug, and a couple of external HD’s that will duplicate from one to the other in the slugs version of raid.

BettyBoo has taken part in quite a few of the projects, but mainly I have to thank her for 177K on Seti and 26K on Docking, with a few work units left to complete.

Betty and her brain of a single core, socket754 3Ghz cpu has done well, but it’s time for her to retire from crunching and find a new home, courtesy of that well known retirement home, Ebay :chuckle:

DT.

there she goes, power cable out and under a desk.

that was for a 24/7 running machine being used as a fileserver, simply not worth the heat it produced, well until it get’s cold again

Whats taken over it? :stuck_out_tongue:

a Slug :frowning: no crunching off that… lol
