Whats people’s view on it?
I like the new layouts etc.
The file sharing system is a bit odd…From looking it would appear to be a folder that is kept synchonised between the contacts?
Not much use when people are using Trillian and other non MSN ones…
oh and it would appear to have now got support for Cyrillic:)
Once I spotted the colour changer button to get rid of the orange I was happy. For work purposes the file sharing folder is excellent. Voice and video comms have improved a lot as well and the setup of it all for that was very simple as well. Something MSN was missing for ages - timestamped messages is also pretty good as is the “contact is offline, will get message when they sign in” like ICQ does/did when I first used IM all those years back. One thing I would love them to do with it though - get rid of the adverts and have a licensed version on yearly susbcription for updates. Mainly because I’d get them with the action pack then, but I think that has been fed back a lot to MS from the people I’ve spoken to.
