have you tried letting the troubleshooter repair itself. And how come your using 7.5 PM me with your email address if you want 8.0 beta
go for a reinstall that usually works for wierd msn problems 
msn 8 aint so much better…its still beta…more trouble than its worth imho stay with 7.5 !!

I’ve found 8 beta more stable than 7.5 as well 
well the sharing doesnt work at all…im getting slower transfer speeds through it now…and its died on me a few times now !
and its not just me!! grrrrr
Well ignore the sharing folders bit and send direct transfer…
and 8 is better than 7.5 IMHO
only reported issues with the beta has been rather excessive cpu usage when using the “dynamic display” pictures or backgrounds.
