NAS recommendations

Im looking at getting some sort of NAS device… I have a linkstation pro 500, but it hardly gets any use simply because its too small…

I run boxee on a PC and stream from my main desktop… my main desktop is a shuttle and can only take one extra hard drive so I think a NAS is the best route

Does anyone have any hands on with any type of NAS? any good recommendations?

Cost isnt a major problem but I can get the Buffalo Linkstation pro 4TB for £269… so something around that mark would be best

Any ideas?

i used to have one the the netgear Duos. Awesome bit of kit, can attach your camera, memory sticks and the likes and they can be accessed throughout the network. Comes with 1TB HDD in it and another you can claim for free. Believe it can take upto 4TB Max. Aria sell this as well, but its £400 or so with 4TB Pre-Installed, with no option of claiming a free drive.

(novatech chuck in the option to claim a free 1TB HDD, i believe you just have to pay postage)

Heres the full netgear range http://www.netgear.co.uk/readynas/

Only reason i sold mine was because i replaced it with a home server  cant say about any other brands but i swear by netgear, have yet to find a product of theirs to fail me.
