Fedora 11 (leonidas) is out, have already upgraded the laptop and I’m impressed. Openoffice 3.1, Firefox 3.5 etc its a really full featured release. Compiz-Gnome running very smoothly on Radeon 1100 graphics. And using “preupgrade” to do the job for me from Fedora 10 worked really well no issues even the BOINC client just picked up and carried on.

Won’t bother with a screenshot you know what Fedora looks like by now if you are interested. Get the ISOs from the usual places or try the upgrade route if you already have Fedora.

grabbed the iso’s, waiting for a new hdd in the post before I have a play.

The big questions for me are… what’s the gfx acceleration support like, and how well does it play with dual monitors ? Ie, can I play a game (via wine) full screen on one monitor and use the other for firefox etc… Could be a fun weekend :smiley:
