why do you look so deply into how long each will take ? dont you think the real test would be to run it and see what the outcome is ?

But i dont think you have any contemplation of cache vs main memory…its akin to a boy racers Nova with nasty bodykit vs the 1000 HP Skyline on the autobahn in the video i got.
Ok it actually runs nicely on a Pentium M 1.6 Ghz. I am running it on mostly AMD XP2500 with a “slight” OC.
With D2OL there is quite a bit a variation in the run time between differing conformers. Generally they cache fairly equally. I think this project is the most like the original seti in setup, but include WU caching built in.
A 250 WU cache setup on one ov my D2OL boxes takes 76 meg including the jre and all the code.
