I know being stomped by moi is a bitter pill to swallow, but that is no excuse to stop crunching altogether.
Or is it your router / switch / thingee and you are saving up for a :bigdump: ??
Maybe he’s helping Ren beat me to 10,000, lest he has to be paraded in leaopardskin underpants.
That would be fair enough - sort of like a civic duty really.

What’s this…?
Fair enuff…nothing like a bit of rumour…mind you, must be careful about listening to rumours…there was one floating round that I was moving to Melbourne…turns out to be bollocks…all fell through::(:
Had this before haven’t we? Didn’t seti finish some time last year
Hahaha…
IMO it won’t be 17th May but it will creep up on us rather fast now.
From the Boinc Boards.
[I] Some changes have been made to the overall system as we are gearing up for the public launch, for instance the database is being moved to another machine which has 4GB of RAM.
The scheduling server was moved to another machine or machines, I haven’t gotten a straight answer to the question yet, and the feeder and other services were already on another machine.
The reason no announcement was made was it was all supposed to happen behind the scenes but, as you all could tell it didn’t happen as planned. In any case there might be some more changes in the coming week.
For those who are curious as to what our current pass percentages are, we are doing much better then what I was expecting this release to be. For the 2.32 release we were at a 10%-12% failure rate. With the current 3.0x rates we are floating between 2%-4%.
Only, half the rates of results are being submitted a night, compared to the 2.32 clients result rates. So far we have been scaling up as people upgrade and maintaining the same failure rate.
We are so much closer to the public launch than I thought we would be a month ago.
