Didn’t know you lived in Reading mate? That’s where I lived before I went to uni/left home. Still go back there a lot to visit my dad and go drinking. Loads of good bars 
I’d still never buy anything from richer sounds. I’ve had a mare with the watford and southampton branches, although the Reading one wasn’t too bad (my M1 remote came from there).
Basically, took my Arcam Alpha 7 CD player into the watford branch paid to have it upgraded to an Alpha 8SE. Collected it 2 weeks later, got home and they had upped it to the 8 and not 8se. Went back and argued for ages that the upgrade was wrong (eventially proved by the lack of co-ax port :rolleyes: ). They agreed to take it away and do the proper upgrade and loan me a crappy cambridge audio job. Got that home to find the outputs were dead. Eventually got my kit back in 8se spec but on close inspection there was now a small crack in the plastic face panel. I’ve never been able to get them to admit they dropped the casing :mad:
