Outage Notice from Berkeley

OUTAGE NOTICE: On Monday, May 17th we are going to have a two-hour web site outage starting at 17:00 UTC. Client downloads, statistical pages, etc. will be off-line during this time.

Thanks for the heads-up Ian.

Funny that. BIONCs offline at exactly the same time. :sneaky:

I’ll give you 10:1 its not.
There are too many items on the BOINC bug hitlist yet.

i think you are right,
To do List

all M1 are critical and have to fix first.

Sir Ulli

Still, probably indicates another step closer to cut-over, eh…

17 + 1 = 18:00 BST + 2 = 20:00 BST. Anyone know what the time is now :haha:

Now THERE’S a surprise! They’re running late

…and they haven’t got a clue what date it is

Hey can anyone tell me if you can run BOINC on Linux from behind a proxy server? It doesn’t have a -proxy option like the Seti cli.

Q.) How do I use a proxy with BOINC on linux?
A.) Add the following lines to your client_state.xml file
< use_http_proxy/ >
< proxy_server_name > your.ip.address.here < /proxy_server_name >
< proxy_server_port > yourproxyport < /proxy_server_port >

Hope this helps

Thanks Ian - had just found it myself, was about to edit message!
