P2P clients?

back in the day I used kazaa but it’s been a long time since I’ve used P2P stuff. Which app/network is best? I don’t want to be riddled with spyware etc.

I’m after some amateur track day footage before anyone asks.

Bit Torrent is good and quite fast.

Emule is good but you generally queued for a while.

P2P technology is good to share usefull information and files.

It makes downloading so quick, from many sources rather than 1.

I downloaded a strange mouse driver using emule because I could not find the file on the net. And it was quick too.

People have legitmate use for P2P and so does industrial control systems, its an efficient way of distributing information.

Yeah, but P2P is stupid because people are nasty. Unless you love spyware and viruses I’d stay away from P2P. Sure there are legit people trading files but the majority are trafficing in stolen software and other intellectual property.

80% of my computer repair business is generated by people who just had to use P2P. P2P is making me quite wealthy.

Limewire…I swear by it…right now anyway…used to be winmx but that got infected…I have lime wire and have 0 spyware

yes limewire. lil tip get the free version, then use it to get the pro version, which offeres turbo downloads

I use Bittorrent to share my airsoft videos.
Going to get eMule to share them as well when I get round to it.

Those are the two I’ve used. Bittorrent I’ve found to be safe and easy. eMule did give me a couple of viruses that Norton picked up as they finished downloading but then that was cos I was downloading stuff I shouldn’t anyhow.

I think with P2P you need to try it for yourself…Ive been through 5 bittorrnt clients and now found one I like

Bit comet

Azerues was the one tha’s hooked me.

Cant figure some of the others out cough Bitlord cough
