I’ve been listening to Pandora a lot recently and it’s come up with some trumps music wise.
I quite like the feature that lets you play music from similar artists like it does. Does anyone know of a player that does the same? Winamp can play artist from the same genre but I don’t want particularly the same genre as my genre tags aren’t exactly great.
I was thinking my best bet might be Songbird and thus play Pandora throguh that but I’d prefer something that didn’t require web access. :ghey:
Doesn’t iTunes offer a similar feature?
I used to like Winamp, but it lost something when it was taken over around version 3 by some major corp and I haven’t tried it since. Was into Musicmatch Jukebox until it was taken over by Yahoo music and my machine won’t upgrade to it, due to some missing dll error which I couldn’t fix. I just use Windows Media player now, although it doesn’t do CDs too well, jumping when changing tracks which is irritating on tracks that blend into one another
I’m very much enjoying the new streaming aspect of Winamp as it means I can listen to my music collection on my 360. I cant do it with windows media player streaming as all my media files are Ogg files and WMP doesn’t like them much even with the codec installed and wont stream them to the 360. Whereas this one will
