PIfast Challenge

Brought to you in Association with Hexus.Net and TeamPhoenixRising

PiFast is an easy-to-use package written by Xavier Gourdon to compute PI with a very large number of digits.

Hexus carries a copy of this program that for some time has been used by many as a set standard for benchmarking
computers via a pre-defined setup to compute 10M digits of PI .

So we are glad to bring you back the PIfast Challenge to compete just click the link…

Once there hit Download to get your copy of the PIfast Zip file
extract to a location of choice run the hexus_pifast.bat file let
it run and submit your results.

Ideally those that can… please submit a screenshot of your time
to a PIfast thread e.g. like the one in the link below Enjoy.

I’ve also done a 51997 in aquamark but it crashes when I try to submit it

As are mine, got an 6800GT coming, hopefully at the end of the week. And if my co-worker accepts my quote on a new comp, I will be upgrading from a 3200 Winchester to a 3500 Winchester.

AquaMark Score: 70261 (CPU: 12110, GFX: 9897)… the shuttle will get there… hampered by the worst clocking 6800GT ever and low gfx scores… even considering the poor clocking gfx card Ah well, I shall work on it tomorrow :D.
