Program Needed

I have always thought I could find anything… till now
I am looking for an easy to use ToDo list and Note Organizer that is desktop app. I use Zotero for most research work, but just need another program for less complicated matters.
Have “Swift to do list lite”, but lacks drop and drag and hyperlinking. Their full version is ok… but way to much.
I forget so much these days and need some help:)
Free and ad free please.

Suggestions.

I used to use Notepad + Samurize to display it on the desktop but Samurize has a few flaws on Windows 7 so I no longer do.

These days I use Tiddlywiki. There is a GTD (Getting Things Done) one floating about somehwere that might be more helpful.

Prob not what you’re after but I do love the little post-it note widget for win7 desktop :smiley:

I should have said a Task Manager. My bad.

Not one I’ve used, but it looks fairly easy to use with features you might be after.
