Hi Guys,

i am in need of a budget raid card that is compatible with esxi 5.5

needs to support 4 3tb sata drives in raid 5

any suggestions?

Adaptec 6805 I think works on the VM, The issue is chipsets that support 3tb drives are not the cheap ones. Good luck but check the 6805 specs http://www.adaptec.com/en-us/products/series/6-6t/
